We demand to know what are carbs

When asked the question, "What are carbs?", most experts will start by making the distinction between the good and the bad carbs. Good carbs are something that we all need for optimum health and the proper functioning of the body. Carbs are our bodies' primary source of energy, when we do not have enough good carbs then we tend to get more tired and lack the energy that we need to make it through our busy days. We come home without the energy needed even to prepare dinner for the family, let alone go to the gym to work out.

The good carbs are also essential the the proper functioning of the digestive system. Good carbs are a large source of the fiber that our body depends upon. when we do not get enough fiber from good carbs our digestive tract suffers the consequences in a serious way. Not having enough fiber in the diet causes the digestive tract to break down and does not pass the waste through our bodies as it should. The results can be chronic constipation and worse, such as some diseases.

It is the bad carbs that we should be staying away from, not carbs in general. We need to re-evealuate the question of What are carbs as well as all of the information that was told to us through the earlier diets so that we can actually achieve the collective goal of weight loss and better health.
