	<title>Carbohydrate</title>
	<description>
Carbohydrate - what's it all about? What is going on with the myth, the speculation, the rumor? What is all the fuss about this key players in the world of nutrition? How is it that the carbohydrate - always associated with the peasant-ly potato - gets to steal the limelight again and again?

Carbohydrate pontification
Is it good, is it bad, do we care anymore? Yes. Yes, oh yes, we care. Let's pontificate for a moment, shall we? Take a little memory stroll through the timeline that is the history of the carbohydrate. This is no bit player - no supporting cast. No casting couch maven. This is the story of one tough cookie who won't stop - a force to be reckoned with - the host/toast with the most. Quit your hobnobbing with the mucky mucks and piece together this simple vs. complex tale of the lovely and talented entity we all know of as the carbohydrate.

Ah, the glory of so much is contained within the carbohydrate. Come hell or high water, this energy power house that has stolen our hearts and souls just won't quit. Occasionally making an appearance in the most unexpected of places - this superstar will not hold back. You can't keep the mighty carbohydrate down. Check your muffins. Dust off those old cartons of spaghetti from 1989. Wow! Drop trough, there are even carbohydrates in that healthy fruit you keep avoiding!

Remember to get in plenty of healthy carbohydrates - which would be those righteous buggers found in unprocessed foods. Stay away from cake and cookies and any other source of bleached flour products. Hey, we're not saying you have to exist on a life of brown rice and veggies - come on - no one should have to spend a lifetime in nutritional purgatory - but - at least mix it up. You know what they say, the key is always (in so many areas in life - not just with regard to food), in moderation and balance. Experiment till you find your healthy balance.
