It is also convenient if they have included a carb counter in the book that will list the amount of carbs in some of the more common foods. When you have gotten a good idea of the dynamics of the diet, move on to more cookbooks, or get some off the Internet. Set yourself up with a whole host of recipes and snack ideas that will keep you on track with your diet.
